Pain and mental stress during dental treatment trigger symptoms such as an increase in the heart rate. This course covers the following lectures and hands-on training on how to relieve such pain and mental stress, and how to deal with adverse reactions once these symptoms are triggered.
• Body function (Clinical physiology)
• Adjustment of the body function with drugs (Clinical pharmacology)
• Management of patients during dental treatment (general and local anesthesia, sedation) and emergency resuscitation.
